Matt Haynes
I am currently about to enter my third year of a Sports Journalism degree at the University of Staffordshire. I have a strong passion for writing, and take an interest in practically anything. I am always seeking to further enhance my knowledge, however playing sports and keeping fit are activities which also amply fill my time.
I play rugby league for my university, and I enjoy the tough, physical challenge as well as the speed and the intensity of the sport. Also I have an interest in football (soccer) and I am an astute tactician, as well as a qualified coach.
Throughout the last two years I have been lucky enough to interview some high profile names, while both at University and on placements at the Press Association, from Gordon Banks, Lawrie Madden, Rafa Benitez, Iain Dowie, Roy Hodgson and many more.
You can also view my column.
Finally I like to keep my articles refreshing and original.
